New Self Catering Extranet
Those running self catering establishments, you can now update your availability more easily using a new ‘calendar’ system on the self catering extranet. This new system has been developed to show results on www.westdorset.com and www.visit-dorset.com in a more customer friendly style.
We are currently in the process of rolling out the new system to our providers and most of you will have received details, including guidelines for managing your availability. If you would like any further information, please contact your local TIC.

Just a reminder for all accommodation establishments to keep your nearest Tourist Information Centre notified of your vacancy status, particularly for the Easter period.

Accommodation Visits
All new advertisers in the West Dorset Holiday Guide 2010 will have the opportunity to meet staff from their nearest TIC over the coming months, as TIC staff carry out familiarisation visits.
These visits give accommodation providers the opportunity to find out more about the accommodation booking service and other services that the TIC provide that may be of benefit to them and their guests, while TIC staff find the insight gained from these visits invaluable when dealing with accommodation enquiries at the TIC.
