NEW TOURISM BOOKLET PUBLISHED ON ACCESSIBLE MARKET
The most comprehensive business case for accessible tourism in England launches today. The booklet, entitled ‘At Your Service’, has been created through a joint partnership between the Government’s Accessible Tourism Stakeholder Forum and VisitEngland with the aim of inspiring tourism businesses to improve accessibility for customers in the lead up to the London 2012 Olympic Games & Paralympic Games.
New developments have been launched on Destination Dorset's tourism website - www.visit-dorset.com. The new features include an itinerary planner for web users to build their break and an option to sign up for E-newsletters from Visit-Dorset. The www.visit-dorset.com website is administered by West Dorset District Council's tourism team on behalf of the Destination Dorset tourism partnership.
Dorset Residents' Week 2011 took place between the 13th - 19th June 2011. This year's event was promoted across the whole of Dorset, so that all residents could take advantage of some great money saving days out. Thank you to all those attractions and leisure centres who took part. A summary of the results is available here.

Access Statements - All accommodation providers are now required to prepare an Access Statement as part of their quality grading assessment with VisitBritain.
