West Dorset District Council's tourism team is the only team dedicated to promoting tourism in West Dorset. As a local authority, we are a not-for-profit organisation 'working for West Dorset' to sustain the important tourism economy by supporting local businesses. Tourism is currently worth around £230 million to the West Dorset economy, supporting 11% of employment in the district.
