From Dorchester take the A35 towards Bridport for approximately 10 miles. On the second short stretch of dual carriageway, almost opposite the turning to Askerwell, take the first left turning (not signposted to Chilcombe), then continue down this narrow road over the cattlegrids and straight on over the crest of the hill. Rudge Farm will be found on your left, 1.5 miles from the main road.
