Longpuddle is a 400 year old thatched cottage in the Piddle Valley. Set approximately midway between Sherborne and Dorchester the Piddle Valley has a number of Pubs offering good food and is well placed for exploring Thomas Hardy's Dorset. The name Longpuddle was used by Thomas Hardy collectively for the villages in the valley. The house overlooks the embryo river Piddle which runs between the large garden and paddocks. All rooms have colour televisions and radios with tea and coffee making facilities. There is a large comfortable guest's lounge with a colour television and views over the garden and paddocks. Well behaved pets welcome. Off road parking.
