Yetminster Fair 2011

On Saturday 9th July 2011 at Yetminster, starting at 1pm.

Free entry and free parking.

Yetminster Fair is one of the oldest in Dorset. It was started in the 13th century, when a charter was granted to the Bishop of Salisbury for a fair to be held in 'his manor of Yetminster'.

This year's fair will have over 100 stalls, some along the High Street and some in the Craft Hall. Music will be provided by Durnovaria Silver Band and Wessex Highlanders Pipes and Drums, and there will be traditional dancing from the Yetminster Irish Dancers and No Mean Feet. There will also be childrens' entertainment, making it an excellent family day out.

A wide range of food and drink will be available, including Dorset Cream Teas, and the White Hart pub will be open all day.
