Wednesday Afternoon Walks are very popular with visitors and local people alike. Each walk will cover a particular subject - perhaps flowers, birds, freshwater life, butterflies or mammals.

Most walks meet at the Kingcombe Centre at 2.15pm and return for tea and cake at 4pm - 4.30pm.
Please telephone before arrival to confirm details. Wellington boots generally recommended.

  • Outdoor Event - An electrically-powered buggy (a ‘Tramper’) is available for disabled visitors to use to enable them to explore the surrounding countryside including a substantial part of the Dorset Wildlife Trust reserve at Kingcombe. Disabled visitors need to book the use of the buggy in advance and check which walks are suitable for use of the 'Tramper'. Tel 01300 320684.
