Mr. Punch is having a 350th birthday in 2012.
Celebrations will take place across the nation, from a Big Grin Birthday Party in Covent Garden Piazza to a Punch and Judy Jamboree at the Brighton Fringe Festival. Not to mention fun and games in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

But what would a Punch and Judy Heritage Trail be without Weymouth: the jewel in the crown of seaside Punch and Judy pitches with an unrivalled heritage of ‘Professors’?

And what foresight Mr. Punch had to coincide his 350th birthday with the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games! Samuel Pepys must have had a crystal ball as well as a diary to hand when he first came across a puppet show “which did please me mightily” in May 1662. ..that’s the way to do it!

In Weymouth there will be: Childrens puppet parade along the prom, top preformers from the Punch & Judy College of Professors, drop-in puppet making workshops,book signing,Sand Sculpture, illuminated evening performances as well as 'An Audience with Punch & Judy' at Weymouth Pavillion.
