RELAYS

Linked to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, RELAYS (Regional Educational Legacy for Arts and Youth Sport) is a project of exciting events and activities designed to engage and inspire young people, business and communities across the South West of England.
 
RELAYS festivals and events have already begun in Weymouth and Portland and will continue to take place in the run up to 2012 and beyond. Some of these events include:

Weymouth Beach Festival - engaging young people to take part in a variety of sporting and cultural activities on Weymouth beach

Moving Tides Carnival Procession – inspiring young people in Weymouth and Portland to celebrate their locality through carnival

Art of Sport – bringing together young people from secondary schools to take part in a range of arts and sports activities
