Due to an very successful first night and overwhelming demand, we are pleased to announce another date.
Have a 'Night at the Museum' with Paranormal Adventures at Dorset County Museum.
Dorset Natural History and Archaeological Museum has had very few investigations but boasts a great deal of activity to discover.
The usual knocking and voices has been heard near the skeletons encased in the museum and video evidence, reported on by the BBC after investigation, has been recorded here.
The Museum was established in 1846 to save the natural history and archaeology of a County felt at risk from the effects of the Industrial Revolution. In 1884 the move to the present site was made, a purpose-built, gothic inspired museum.
The Victorian Hall is the main gallery of the museum. It was built in 1883 with arches of fine cast ironwork inspired by the Great Exhibition of 1851, and a beautiful rose window.
Paranormal Adventures has access to the library, Victorian hall, all of the exhibition areas and the basement. Reported paranormal activity includes unexplained footsteps, whispering voices, feelings of light headedness and dizziness, knocking, tapping and corner of the eye phenomena.
Our team of experienced investigators look forward to welcoming you and will demonstrate how to use all of the latest ghost hunting equipment that you will be using during the evenings experiments and team vigils.
