To celebrate 25 years of rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing primates at Monkey World, the park will be hosting a very special day of events in aid of the Jim Cronin Memorial Fund.
In the early hours of the 14th of July 1987, the very first 9 chimpanzees arrived at the park to start a new life, after being rescued from Spain where they had been used as beach photographers props, 25 years on and all but one of the original chimpanzees are still thriving, living with others of there own kind, here at the park.
So much has happened over the last 25 years, we plan to celebrate in spectacular style, whilst also taking the time to remember those human and non human primates who are no longer with us.
