Hands-On Lyme is a vibrant company offering events | workshops | courses in arts and crafts, performing arts, home and garden, business, film, arts and crafts fitness and wellbeing and much, much more. Activities such as bushcraft, creative writing, photography, silver making and team development are provided for all ages.
The courses are delivered at various locations including The Town Mill in Lyme Regis. Courses are available all year round and provide opportunities for people of all ages and especially throughout the high season.
The primary purpose of the centre is to provide activities for people ….. for the under 18s the courses are designed to complement the work of schools and colleges. The programmes combine fun, learning, challenge and adventure. During the taster sessions and progressive courses, young people are supported and encouraged to find and develop their natural talents and fulfil their potential.

Gone Harry Potter about drawing? With Cliff Wright
This course is 1-3 days and designed to help you overcome barriers to drawing creativity whatever your ability and experience. We will get you drawing - especially if you are a beginner - drawing can be relaxing, fun and a magical journey of self-discovery. It will also enable you to see the world around you more vividly, as if for the first time. Early booking is advisable given that space is limited.

Workshop Photo-Poetry with Creative Practice and John Hunt Photography
Photo-poetry is a short, 3-day course designed for creative fun but with an emphasis on developing skills and techniques along the way. We start with a view, a word, a thought, a dream even and then begin a process of shaping and transforming ideas into powerful images. You will work on techniques for capturing visual images with John and for painting pictures with words with Phil using the dramatic backdrop of the Jurassic Coast and the atmospheric scenery of Lyme Regis. The course concludes with a digital exhibition of your work and a photo-book record will be posted to you soon afterwards.
£200 for three days; minimum 3 people

Enjoy a day making your own natural herbal products for your bath and home. A detailed hand-out will be yours to take home containing all the recipes and information about the raw materials used
