Dorset Food Week 2010

A weeklong celebration of all things mouth wateringly, sensually, irresistibly Dorset! The week that gives us all a great excuse to focus on the fabulous food and drink that is produced within and from the landscape of our wonderful county. Now in its ninth year the celebrations will run from Saturday 23rd October to Sunday 31st October 2010.

Visitors and locals are all invited to join us in celebrating what Dorset has to offer. Keeping it local, seasonal and fresh is good for the health and wealth of the Dorset area. Why not indulge yourself in exploring the finest Dorset has to offer and ensure this is the biggest and best Dorset Food Week ever. Make sure you pick up your guide to this year’s food week from your nearest Tourist Information Centre, your local pub, cafe or farm shop.

Join us at the launch event in Dorchester town centre on Saturday 23rd October for a food market starting at 9:30am with great food to discover, taste and buy. With demonstration kitchen and great chefs on stage starting at 10:30am, including Mat Follas, Russell Brown and Kim Wood to name a few!
