Bridport Food Festival 2012

Pack your picnic blanket and head for Bridport as the Jurassic Coast market town rolls out the bunting in celebration of the annual Bridport Food Festival which takes place this year from 11-17 June.
Sunday 10th June: The Seafood Festival hosted by the Riverside Restaurant at West Bay 10-4pm
Monday 11th June Tour of Palmers Brewery 6.30pm til 8pm
Tuesday 12th June Indian Cookery Master Class at the Taj Mahal 2-4pm Booking essential! Also Food Quiz (8pm) & Tastings(6pm) at The Ropemakers Pub
Wednesday 13th June Cider Tasting at Bridport Arts Centre 12-2pm, and What's Hot What's Not course at Sea Spring Seeds (West Bexington) 2-5pm
Thursday 14th June: 'The Best I Ever Ate' talk and tea in Bridport Town Hall 2.30-4.30pm, and Toast is being shown at Bridport Art Centre 6.30pm
Friday 15th June: Food Tasting at Felicity's Farm Shop. Morcombelake 10-4pm, Local Food Conference in Bridport Town Hall, and Wine tasting in Asker Meadows at 7pm
Saturday 16th June: The Main Event at Askers Meadow 9.30-5pm Advance Tickets £2 from Bridport Tourist Information Centre (£2.50 on gate), This event runs alongside the very popular Bridport Beer Festival run by Bridport Round Table.
Sunday 17th June: Open Farm Sunday at Washingpool Farm and Denhay Farm, and Bridport's Big Picnic organised by Transition Town Bridport at Askers Meadow 12-3pm (Free Event).
Also during the week there will be a host of other events and activities including specialist sausages from Balsons Butchers, a Festive Menu at Hive Beach cafe, a Food Themed Trail at Bridport Museum.
