Garden inspired craft workshops in association with Castle Gardens:

Thursday 15th May - Stone Carving techniques with Jeff Body. 10.30-16.00.
Learn the basic techniques of stone carving on both plaster blocks and stone to create a hanging piece to take home at the end of the day. Tools, plaster blocks and stone provided but it would be helpful if students could bring a sturdy working surface or 'workmate' with them. Jeff is most famous for his beautiful sheep sculptures that adorn the A37 roundabout at Shepton Mallet.

Saturday 24 May - Applique Stained Glass with Nina Gronw-Lewis. 10.30-16.00.
Learn the techniques of applique stained glass with talented glass artist Nina Gronw-Lewis. By the end of the day you will have completed a panel to take home. Materials provided.
