West Dorset Tourism Business Forum

A big thank you goes to everyone who attended, exhibited and presented at the West Dorset Tourism Business Forum held on 6th March 2008.

We were pleased to welcome over 50 people to the 2008 forum which was held at Highlands End Holiday Park in Eype. The afternoon gave tourism businesses the opportunity to meet tourism and business specialists and listen to guest speakers on green tourism, the legacy Dorset can achieve from the 2012 Games and how our Destination Management System and website works for you, its performance and future developments.

The exhibition area also gave attendees further information from South West Tourism's green tourism team, Dorset and New Forest Tourism Partnership and the district council's tourism team and tourist information centre staff.

The feedback from the afternoon was very positive and attendees were provided with a variety of information to help them get the most out of their business and how they can get involved in future plans and initiatives to help boost their business.
