Travel Around West Dorset
West Dorset is ideal for exploring by foot or on two wheels.
There are nearly 300 coast and countryside guided walks to choose from and numerous leisurely pub strolls. If you choose to walk some of the South west Coast Path you'll be rewarded with some breathtaking coastal views.
West Dorset is tailor made for cycling too, with quiet country lanes and peaceful villages to explore. There are two National cycle Network routes to follow and these encapsulate rural West Dorset at its very best.
Bus
It's really easy to get around West Dorset by bus. Visit the First website for bus timetables or use the Jurassic Coast Bus Service which is ideal for walkers who want to walk along a section of the coast path as they have the option of either travelling out or back by bus.
