Parking in Dorchester
Dorchester has five Long Stay car parks and four Shoppers' car parks. All car parks are operated on a Pay and Display basis.
Park and Ride
A Park and Ride scheme operates all year round from the Dorchester Football Stadium. Buses run every 15 minutes.
Disabled Badge Holders
If you are a blue badge holder and receive one of the following allowances or supplements, you may apply for a free parking permit:
- Higher mobility allowance of the disability living allowance
- High rate attendance allowance (if over 65 years of age)
- Low rate attendance allowance (if over 65 years of age) and are incapable of walking more than 30 metres (written statement required)
- War pensions mobility supplement
This will entitle you to three hours free parking in any car parking bay. Your disabled badge and clock must be displayed. Please complete an application form and return it to us by post using the address on the form. A temporary exemption permit may also be obtained from tourist information centres or from Parking Services
Larger Vehicles
Lorries, coaches, motorhomes, caravans, caravanettes, trailers etc can be accommodated at the Top O' Town and Fairfield car parks in the commercial area / coach park.
