An early 17th C hunting lodge gutted by fire in 1929, the exterior is restored and displays inside recreate its history of the building. The adjoining 18thC chapel is the first free-standing Roman Catholic Church built in England since the Reformation and contains an exhibition of 18th and 19thC vestments, church and recusant silver. Adventure playground and woodland walk adjoin the animal farm where you can help feed the animals. Indoor children's activity room.
