Under the Data Protection Act, West Dorset District Council has a legal duty to protect any information it collects from you. The Council uses leading technologies and encryption software to safeguard your data, and keeps strict security standards to prevent any unauthorised access to it. The Council does not pass on your details to any third party unless you give the Council permission to do so or if it is allowed to do so by law.
