From Time to Time

Athelhampton House

West Dorset's Athelhampton House is the star of new film 'From Time to Time', starring Dame Maggie Smith.

'From Time to Time'  is set in 1944 and tells the story of 13-year old Tolly Oldknow who is sent to live with his grandmother (Maggie Smith) at the family home of Green Knowe (Athelhampton). In the old house, young Tolly embarks on a mysterious journey of discovery as he unlocks his family history, set during the time of the Napoleonic Wars. As the story unfolds, the film flicks seamlessly between the two war time periods and both Tolly and the audience are drawn deep into a bewildering ancenstral mystery.
