Home > Abbotsbury Swannery
The 600-year-old swannery is a natural history paradise. Home to the only managed colony of free-flying mute swans in the world that visitors can walk among. During the nesting and hatching period (end May-end June), it is possible to be standing next to hatching eggs. On average, over 100 nests produce over 600 cygnets for visitors to literally walk amongst. Self-service coffee shop, gift shop, audiovisual show, free car parking and rustic play area.
