Ambrose Cottage is a 1930s detached house, with 2 bed and breakfast rooms. A large double room with its own en-suite containing a shower cubical, sink and toilet. All new facilities. It has a nice round bay window facing a quiet lane (Crock Lane).Tea making, hairdryer and flat screen TV and view of Bothen Hill.
A small single room with its own en-suite, also containing a shower cubical, sink and toilet. All new facilities. Room faces the front of the house also to the quiet lane. Tea making, hairdryer and flat screen TV.
Breakfast served in conservatory breakfast room with home-made bread, marmalade and preserves, locally sourced fish and bacon and eggs from our own hens. Parking for two cars on the front drive (off road). Credit Cards not accepted, cheques by arrangement.

Road Directions

Ambrose Cottage is in Crock Lane in Bothenhampton, a hamlet on the edge of Bridport Town. If arriving from the East (ie from Dorchester), Crock Lane is reached by taking the last left turn before the Texaco roundabout, or else via Pasture Way along Sea Road South.

Public Transport Directions

Train to Dorchester or Crewkerne. Bus from stations to Bridport, approx 45 minutes.
Both Dorchester and Crewkerne are on South West Train Service from London Waterloo.
